SMS Terms of Service

The terms that apply to text messages sent by Yantra to your mobile number.

Updated and Effective: September 19, 2026

These SMS Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern text messages sent to you by CDMBase LLC d/b/a Yantra ("Yantra," "we," or "us") in connection with the Yantra platform. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply.

By providing your mobile number to Yantra and requesting a text message, you agree to these SMS Terms. If you do not agree, do not provide your mobile number and do not request text messages from us.

1. Program Description

Yantra operates a text messaging program that sends account-related messages to mobile numbers that users have given us. The program is used to verify phone numbers, deliver team invitations, and send notices about your account and the security of the Platform. Messages are sent using automated technology.

This is not a recurring marketing program. We do not send promotional text messages unless you separately opt in to receive them, and you can withdraw that opt-in at any time without affecting your account.

2. Messages You May Receive

  • Verification codes. When you add or verify a phone number in Yantra, we send a one-time code to that number so we can confirm it belongs to you. Example: "123456 is your Phone verification code for Yantra".
  • Team and organization invitations. When a Yantra user invites you to their organization by phone number, we send a single message containing the invitation link. Example: "You've been invited to join Acme on Yantra. Click this link to join: [link]".
  • Account and security notices. Time-sensitive messages about your account, such as sign-in alerts or notices we are required to send.
  • Product updates (opt-in only). If you separately opt in, occasional messages about new features, availability, and product news.

Messages sent by Yantra customers through the SMS Campaigns feature are a separate program and are covered by Section 10.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on how you use the Platform. Typically you receive one message per verification request, one message per invitation, and account or security notices only as events occur. If you opt in to product updates, you can expect no more than four messages per month.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Yantra does not charge for the text messages described in these SMS Terms, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure about the charges that apply to your account.

6. How to Opt Out, Get Help, or Resume

Reply withWhat happens
STOPWe stop sending text messages to that number and send one confirmation message. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT work the same way.
HELPWe reply with support contact information. You can also email support@yantra.app.
STARTWe resume sending text messages to that number.

After you reply STOP, you will no longer receive verification codes or invitations by text message at that number. Any feature that depends on a verified phone number may stop working until you reply START or remove and re-add the number in your account settings.

You can also remove a phone number entirely under Account Settings > Personal Information, which stops all messages to that number.

7. Carriers and Delivery

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and to network conditions outside our control, and we do not guarantee that any message will be delivered or delivered on time.

The program is supported by major carriers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, and Cricket Wireless. Carrier support may change, and T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy of Your Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with the messaging service providers that transmit messages on our behalf and that are contractually restricted from using that information for their own purposes.

We store your mobile number, its verification status, and your messaging preferences for as long as your account is active, and we keep a record of your opt-in and opt-out choices so that we can honor them. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information generally.

9. Eligibility and Your Mobile Number

You must be at least 18 years old and the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. By providing a number, you confirm that you have the authority to consent to receive text messages at it.

If you change or give up your mobile number, you must remove it from your Yantra account or notify us at support@yantra.app so that messages intended for you are not sent to the number's next subscriber.

10. Messages You Send Through Yantra

Yantra offers features, including SMS Campaigns, that let you send text messages to your own recipients. For those messages you are the sender and the party responsible for them, and Yantra acts only as the technology provider.

If you use those features, you agree that you will:

  • obtain and keep records of prior express consent from every recipient, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and other applicable law;
  • honor opt-out requests promptly, including STOP replies, and never send to a recipient who has opted out;
  • identify yourself as the sender in your messages and include opt-out instructions where required;
  • register your messaging campaigns and sending numbers where carriers require it, including A2P 10DLC registration in the United States, and keep that registration accurate;
  • respect quiet hours, do-not-call and do-not-text lists, and any other restriction that applies to your recipients; and
  • not send messages in any category prohibited by carriers or by our Terms of Service.

You are solely responsible for the content of messages you send and for complying with the law when sending them. We may suspend sending, without notice, where we believe messages violate these SMS Terms, carrier rules, or applicable law.

11. Changes to These SMS Terms

To the extent allowed by applicable law, we may change these SMS Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will revise the "Updated and Effective" date above and, where required, notify you. Your continued participation in the program after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
